- RoSPA Safety Awards 2007 - Highly Commended Sector Award, One Order of Distinction and Three President's Awards
A policy of continuous improvement is applied to Health and Safety where Haden Young observes the most stringent standards. Every year our Health and Safety Management system is audited using RoSPA's Quality Safety Audit system to confirm that procedures are in place to ensure this excellent record will be maintained. Since the turn of the millennium, Haden Young regional businesses have secured a total of 17 RoSPA Gold awards, 15 President's Awards and one Order of Distinction. During the same period, the company as a whole has been awarded a President's Award, three Orders of Distinction and four Highly Commended awards.
- Building Services Awards 2005 – Health & Safety Initiative of the Year Winner
Haden Young's industry leading Health, Safety and Environmental performance was recognised in the Building Services Awards, sponsored by Building Services Journal and Electrical and Mechanical Contractor Magazine. The award judges stated that, "We were impressed with Haden Young's reduction in accident frequency during 2004, as well as the number of initiatives rolled out and working with suppliers to reduce accidents." The Building Services Awards are the biggest and most widely recognised awards in our industry.
