"This has definitely been a good move. I am learning more and it has opened up other potential career choices."
Graeme Lindsay, former Electrical Apprentice, now Electrical Targeter, Glasgow
Haden Young take on a number of electrical, mechanical and plumbing craft apprentices each year in each of our operations across the country. As well as planned on-site experience, you will attend day release or block release college courses and be paid an attractive salary.
As an apprentice with Haden Young, you will work towards National or Scottish Vocational Qualifications at Levels 2 and/or 3. On completion of training you receive recognised industry grading.
Once you have qualified, there are many career opportunities at Haden Young. You could go on to become a Chargehand, Foreman or Construction Manager or progress to Project Engineering or Management. Many current Haden Young managers began their careers as Craft Apprentices.
As a potential recruit, you may be studying for or have recently taken GCSE's and/or vocational qualifications and are looking for a career where your skills and ambition will be supported by our commitment to helping you fulfil your true potential.
If you have enthusiasm, personality, a well developed sense of responsibility and a will to succeed, we would like to hear from you.
